What Folks in Line Ask Us

These come up more than anything else. Yours isn't here? Write to support@mymenuplace.com. Running a restaurant yourself? Your questions are answered on Your Own Place.

Will I pay the price I see on the page?

Use it as a guide. We update a page each time an owner or guest writes in with a fix, but a restaurant can raise a price or retire a dish without telling anyone. Before a big order or a catering run, check with the restaurant.

Can I put in an order or hold a table through you?

No. We post the menu and the details around it, but we don't take orders, payments or reservations. Tap the call button on the menu page and ask the restaurant about pickup, delivery or a table, if it offers them.

Will my plate look like the picture?

Not always. Owners can put their own dish photos on their page, and plating and portions shift from one visit to the next. If you spot a picture that isn't from that restaurant, tell us and we'll take it down.

Who writes the reviews, and does anybody read them first?

Two kinds show up on a menu page. Some come from public review sites. The rest arrive through our own Write a Review form, and someone on our team reads each of those before it goes up. We turn away the ones that are nasty, wander off the subject or are really an ad.

A price, phone number or address is wrong. How do I tell you?

Use the form on Drop Us a Line or email support@mymenuplace.com. Tell us the restaurant and its town, the detail that is off and the right version. A snapshot of the board as it stands today, or a recent receipt, helps us fix the page with confidence, so email it along if you have one.

I left a review. Can I change it or take it back?

Sure. There are no accounts here, so email support@mymenuplace.com with the restaurant name, the name you put on the review and about when you posted it, and say what you'd like changed. We can edit the review or take it down.

Do you sell or pass around my email address?

No. We don't sell what you send us, and there's no newsletter to land on. Your details get used for three things only: answering you, posting your review, or building and updating a listing. Under the Board has the whole story.

Are there ads on the menu pages?

None. My Menu Place doesn't run advertising. Each menu page does show a Google Map for directions, and Google may set its own cookies when that map loads.

Your Question Isn't Up There?

Send it over and we will answer by email as quickly as we can.
